In order for developers to keep the cash flowing and keep the business growing, they need to maximise the value of each development and move onto the next project. A common issue is with closing the last few remaining sales. These may be the plots which have the small garden or are close to the road or other less than perfect outlooks.

One Leicestershire housebuilder had two remaining plots in less than ideal locations. We staged these plots for less than £2k per plot per month, with the two plots selling within 4 and 7 weeks respectively. These plots had previously remained unsold for 8 months.

When The Home Styling Company was approached, the aim was to explore options to enable the developer to get the properties sold and move off the site. The budget was limited as the site was at the end of its cycle.

We proposed to part stage both properties, concentrating on the key rooms; both had large kitchen/diners, living rooms and master bedrooms. We photographed both properties to enable the developer to have new images to relaunch.

All furniture was rented from The Home Styling Company on a 12-week contract.
